Curved bathrooms are here to stay and here to boom. Bathrooms that use curved, arched or rounded products are one in every two bathrooms we renovate at the moment so it’s safe to say you might want to get onto this trend now.
Where do you start though? Well, I am here to help with my easy-to-follow guide on making a curved bathroom.

Below are the 4 main parts of the modern curved bathroom
- Curved Shower Screens
- Vanities With Curved Edges
- Mirror Cabinet With A Curved Finish
- Arch Shower Niches
- Amazing Bonus Curved Ideas (At The End)

What is a curved bathroom?
Curved bathrooms are the most popular bathroom trend of the last 2 years but what is it and why is everything following it?
Well, the easy answer I can give you is we are heading to a more organic natural feel to bathroom design.
Curves add to that feel of a natural bathroom but make everything feel more soft and less rigid. For example.
Below is the stunning curved bathroom. When you see a space like this you want it straight away.

Will curved bathrooms date?
Like most trends, curved bathrooms will date but you need to factor in two things when heading down this path.
Firstly when it comes to bathroom trends and ideas that I feel will date you need to consider how your selection can impact the masses.
An example is a bright colour tile or pattern finish that can instantly feel dated out of place and not for everyone. That will date quickly

Secondly, does your choice go with your home and area? Putting a modern bathroom in an old home is not the end of the world but if you go for a period-style bathroom design then we have problems.
Those decisions date like a claw foot bath in a 2020 home near the city are examples. Often installing modern concepts like a curved vanity or a USB bathroom outlet will not date the exact same way.

A Guide To The Perfect Curved Bathroom Design
In this section below I will show you some amazing curved bathrooms throughout Australia and what I love about them and how you can create them.

What I love about this amazing small curvy bathroom is a room this tiny can feel so huge due to the item choices.
This curved vanity allows for a larger walk-in shower and the arch niche when looking from the entrance just compliments it so perfectly.

Rounded Shower Walls
Massively trending at the moment is creating your walls to be curved, not square. This is created during the preparation and plastering part.
The rounded finish really creates that smooth feel and finish but you will need a lot of mosaics or venetian plastering.

Random Curves
Finally, we have a collection of cool and random ideas I like for curved finishes in bathroom renovations and designs.

Rounded shower seats using microcement to create a seamless cool look.

Finally, the arch entrance is super popular to create an instant feel when you see the bathroom what to expect.

So there you have my guide to curved or curvy bathrooms. I hope I have helped you on this bathroom design journey or at least gave you some pretty pictures to look at for inspiration.
I personally love the trend as I think it looks great and has a warm feel to it even combined with your classic greys or black and whites.
If you do not love it don’t have it or if you are stressing about making it all tie in just breathe and think to yourself am I going to love it? if so then push ahead it’s your money so who cares what others might think.
