How to find the best tradies for a bathroom renovation
Word of mouth is 80 percent of my business and it will be for most other bathroom renovators in Australia. Its important and creates a trust barrier.
Failing that social media, online presence and honestly vibes are super important.
This way you’re more likely to get a tradie who provides quality workmanship, is easy to work with and displays a sense of integrity. The last thing you’ll want to encounter is sloppy handiwork and bad work ethic. Try and get more than one recommendation from your network so you can find the right tradie for you.
Look online for social media presence, you want them to be at least tagged in other projects. Ideally you’re renovate is in a community of other trades and suppliers it shows they are involved and still doing projects
At the very least, you’ll want to get three quotes.

How much should you spend on a small bathroom renovation if you’re selling your home?
If you’re renovating to sell, your bathroom will be one of your important selling points. However, it is easy to spend more or less on your bathroom renovation than you need to.
My rule of thumb for doing a small bathroom renovation for resale is ask yourself what a potential buyer is going to say to themselves.
Are they looking at your bathroom and saying that it will cost $40k to do that when I buy the place so I should take that off.

Are “groutless bathroom” cheaper to create.
Often people will ask me if using microcement or no tiles will be cheaper in the bathroom renovation market.
The answer is yes and yes it can look cheaper.
Groutless bathroom I love them I have written a ton on them. They are perfect for someone willing to put in the work to create them. They should never be done on the cheap though and really should cost in the $30,000 range on the bespoke level
If done inconrecoltey especially using microcement or venetiain plastering it can be disaster so get quality tradesman for it please.
