Located in the southern suburbs of Perth, Atwell is a blend of new and newer homes. Most bathrooms in the area are only about 20 years old with a lot of Pastel and Italian-style bathroom designs present in the area.

The older part will contain a lot of coloured plastic fittings which has discoloured over time. The bathrooms though are generally quite spacious. Now we have gone into way too much detail about the area let’s tackle this bathroom renovation tackled by Small Bathroom Renovations Perth 

How It Looked–

 

What We Did

Keeping with the same layout the clients wanted to really just modernise the space they had. Due to the large window, they were able to use darker fittings and tiles without closing the space in. The biggest change was the reduction of the bricked hob and the input of the island bath to really give it a luxury feel. We installed the vanity mixer into the wall for quite a modern trend of the combination wall mixer. It allows for easier cleaning around the vanity. The last really big change to this Atwell bathroom was the Shower Recess or Box which is all the rage at this stage.

What Bathroom Items Did We Use

For this bathroom, the clients picked Caroma bathroom fittings. These Caroma-style bathroom fittings can be a little expensive on the price scale but are some of the best bathroom fittings you will get in Perth when doing your main bathroom renovation. The semi-frameless shower screen really finished off the clean look.

Star of the Room

It’s a toss-up between the beautiful feature of the shower box or the island bath which I have never been the biggest fan of but in this bathroom renovation, I feel it has been done really well.

Last Notes about the Bathroom

I love this bathroom. It’s modern but takes a risk in its colour. It’s what I call an easy risk the idea that when designing anything risk is needed to archive a wow feeling.

If you don’t risk it the bathroom look will always be the same. All they did was use the feature floor tile on one wall and it transformed the whole room.

This style of the bathroom in Atwell is not out of place as the bathroom renovation suits the area and I really felt the clients nailed it on the head with their selections.
