What is the best bathroom waterproofing membrane?

The best bathroom waterproofing membrane I have ever used is the LIQUID FLASH by construction chemicals which can be found Australia wide. I have used this waterproofing membrane on probably over 1000 bathrooms and I personally have found it to be the best waterproofing membrane for a bathroom and would say it is the best bathroom waterproofing around.

So whether you can waterproof your own bathroom in Australia depends on where you live. In places such as Queensland and new south wales you need to be licenced to do waterproofing on your bathroom but in places like Western Australia you do not need to. So can you waterproof your own bathroom? Well you can if you are legally aloud to but what I will say is that you really should have a tiler or a personally who has done many of these. Bathroom waterproofing is more of an art to making sure you don’t have loose bits underneath your waterproofing or understand the drying component or the primer needed to waterproof a bathroom effectively so do not risk it.
